- Puff pastry dough
- Eggs
- Sliced ham
- Sliced cheese
- Butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
How to Make Ham, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Pockets
Step 1: In a bowl, scramble the eggs and add the salt and pepper.
Step 2: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the eggs and cook, stirring gently, until cooked. Remove from heat..
Step 3: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or just spray with oil. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 6 to 8 rectangles.
Place a spoonful or so of scrambled egg and add a piece of sliced ham, and cheese in the center of each rectangle.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
Step 4: Place the pockets on the prepared baking sheet and cut a small slit on top of the pastries. Brush with egg wash if desired. Bake following the instructions on the puff pastry package or until golden brown.
