Don’t you just love Christmas? I know that I do, and I love that you can make Christmas decorations. Maybe you need a new Christmas tree skirt. In this post I’ll show you 21 Christmas tree skirt sewing patterns.
You can make tree skirts for mini trees or your regular Christmas tree. The general rule of thumb for a tree skirt is that the skirt needs to be a least 4-6 inches larger than base of the tree.
All these tree skirt quilt patterns are free patterns. When you make your own tree skirt it adds a handmade touch to your Christmas decorations.
Some of patterns you can use pre-cut fabric, like charm squares, jelly rolls, layer cakes and fat quarters. What I love about pre-cut fabric is that you get a variety of fabric to use.
Instead of just having just 3 or 4 different fabrics, fabric bundles will usually have about 20 or more different prints depending on the kind of bundle and the brand.
I hope you enjoy all these different sewing projects for Christmas tree skirts and Merry Christmas.
