Animal felt toys are super cute, so much fun to make and make a great gift.  This blog post is a round-up of some of the best free felt animals patterns.

Felt makes really soft toys, and some people even turn them into cat toys.  Besides felt animals you can make felt food play sets, cute felt monsters, baby mobiles and more projects that would make a wonderful handmade gift.

Felt projects are usually made by hand sewing and not with a sewing machine.  I make my felt toys mostly with hand sewing using embroidery floss and the best part is that with most felt projects you need just a few basic sewing skills, like the blanket stitch and the straight stitch.

Another way to make felt crafts is by using hot glue.  If I glue my felt projects I like to use hot glue, but here is a post I did about the best glues for felt.  “The Best Glues for Felt Projects: My Top Glue Picks.”

There are all kinds of different crafts you can make with felt like, toys, ornaments for the Christmas tree, bookmarks, gift tags, coasters, jewelry, and so many more.
