Snowflakes are one of the most common tatting projects out there. I have made a couple of snowflake patterns before, so I decided to make another one. And while snowflakes are traditionally white I made this pattern using and light blue, green crochet thread.
Snowflakes are great for Christmas decorations, but not only that they can be used throughout Winter too. This easy winter snowflake pattern can be used for table decorations, ornaments, garland and more.
Snowflakes are also easy to make because like doilies they’re repetitive, so you basically make the same thing over again.
This is a beginner friendly pattern and you just need to know the basics of tatting. And like other tatted projects you will also need to block the finished snowflake, so it’ll lay flat.

- Crochet thread size 10
